This boy has impeccable timing! JP and I were out for a short jaunt last night - one story and picking up Chinese takeout. Halfway through I started feeling a little cramping. I thought to myself, Braxton-Hicks? already? and then this morning, the 26 week email comes through from BabyCenter:
| you're 26 weeks pregnant! |

| Don't panic if your uterus suddenly starts tightening and relaxing -- Braxton Hicks contractions often begin around this time. They're simply your body's way of practicing and preparing for labor. (If the contractions are regular or particularly painful, call your doc just to be sure it's not the real thing.) |

Yep, this kid's good!
So I took a self-imposed timeout and went to bed early last night.
Nothing else new to report... status quo, the usual symptoms and boring OB appointments.
