Repetition

Flights are booked and the hotel is finally booked too... The 22th of June we will travel to Minneapolis, and it will be our fourth time there.... We really are making that city our second home ;) We will stay in the same hotel that we stayed in two years ago for egg retrieval and transfer. The TownePlace Suites Minneapolis Downtown Here is a picture that Tommy took from the window in our room back then in 2008. Who would know that two years later we would go back for a sibling journey together with Sanna! Its hard to grasp, really. Its easier to just focus on the practical stuff day by day, because the emotions, excitement, results and implications... well, you know, its huge. We make it step by step and enjoys the ride while its here!

Let the poking begin!

Look what arrived by FedEx yesterday!!
My beautiful box of meds, syringes & orals ~ oh my!!
This side of the ocean is equipped and ready for the sibling project roller coaster ride.

I've already begun the BCP's and have decided that taking them at night is easier on my stomach.  The funny thing is that I don't take any other pill at night so have been finding myself in bed (on more than one occasion) and remembering that I didn't take it...  so I jump back out of bed and take the little red pill with a glass of water and promptly jump back into bed for a good night's rest.

First day of loopy lupron begins on May 29th!

Love & BIG hugs,

Ovulation on track

No, I am not PREGNANT... ha, ha... The smiley on this pee-stick tells me that I ovulate today. That is great news. First of all, it tells me I am still producing... and secondly it gives our IVF-coordinator Dawn a signal on when to let me start taking the BCP. Its a paradox I know; both me and Julie taking BCP to treat infertility... That its just one of the peculiarities of the IVF-world.

I read this about IVF recently on a surrogacy site; IVF is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. So with that Forrest Gump attitude we enter this game once again. With an open mind, a great hope and a gratefulness above all that we are so lucky to have Julie and the Foremans with us - Angels on Earth.

Me and Tommy has just completed the pre-testing here in Norway, so we are ready. Minneapolis, we will be there soon!

And I just love that Smiley!
