Jippiiiie!!!

We are so thrilled by the good news!

All systems (aka uterus) go!!

I walked into the OB office this morning with my heart pounding in my chest, or was it my throat?  At any rate, I was sure the receptionist could hear it.  Today was, after all, the defining moment for the forward-moving journey we're all hoping for...  and while I may be an [old] pro at this by now, it's still a little trepidatious.

Filled out the paperwork.
Checked my email.
Oh, it's my turn to go back...  Bobbi and I are old friends by now.  "Do I know the routine?" she asks.  Of course I do!  We get to business and she asks me to undress as she prepares the weenie wand (affectionately known term given by us surros).  Dr. E appears and greets me with a huge smile.  Asks how I'm doing and if I am really going to do this again?  At this point I think it's evident I'm eager, don't you?  But I tell her I have an easy time being pregnant and need to meet my goal of a 6th pregnancy and sibling for Sanna.

We talk about my tipped uterus, the exam continues, and there it is...  the word "beautiful" comes out of her mouth and it was music to my ears.  I'm not sure if either of them caught the huge sigh of relief I let go and the smile that suddenly appeared from one side of my face to the other...  but it was there, all of it...  joy, elation and a sigh of relief that this dream is on its way of becoming reality once again!!

I told Dr. E that H&T say hello.  Showed her the newest pictures of Sanna.  She then discovered the paperwork she had to complete for Dr. C.  Oh, backing up, she couldn't understand why I needed to have a SH with her, but then mentioned that if there was any blame to be given *further down the road* he wanted to be able to share equally with my practitioner.  oiy.  So, because I had my annual in January, she quickly completed the paperwork and laughed at some of the questions she had to complete on my/our behalf.  At one point she laughed out loud (such a lovely laugh it was) about the phrase "please review the patient's medical history and answer the following"...  she says, "Review it?  I don't have to review your chart, I lived it.  I could probably complete this questionnaire by memory!"  Yes, indeed, she could.  I have known this woman, quite intimately, for 20 years.  It's only fitting that she is the one to clear me crazy for one last pregnancy journey!

And there you have it...  I have emailed off to Norway and to CRM...  we are all systems go!  And I can't wait to make their dreams come true!!
